NavaKankari — Rules & Quick Tips

Placement Phase (9 pieces each)
Players alternate placing pieces on empty intersections. Creating a Mill (3 in a straight line horizontally or vertically) grants the right to remove one opponent piece that is not currently part of a mill.

Movement Phase
After all pieces are placed, move pieces to adjacent connected points (left/right/up/down). When a player is reduced to 3 pieces, enable "Flying" to allow moving to any empty point (optional).

Mills & Removal
Forming a mill gives a removal right. If the opponent has no removable pieces (all in mills), removal is forfeited and turn passes. Removal ALWAYS ends the action and TURN PASSES to the opponent.

Win
Reduce the opponent to fewer than 3 pieces or block all their moves.

Phase: Placement

How to play — Navakankari (final)

1) Placement: each player places 9 pieces alternately on the 24 intersections (center is decorative only).
2) When you form 3 in a straight line (horizontal or vertical) you immediately get to remove one opponent piece not in any mill. If none available removal is forfeited.
3) After placement: movement phase — move to adjacent connected point (L/R/U/D). Flying allowed only with 3 pieces if enabled.
4) Win by reducing opponent to 2 pieces or blocking all their moves (movement phase).
